DMCA Policy

Javaobjects.Net Guides Tips is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We take copyright infringement seriously and comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). This policy outlines our procedures for handling alleged copyright infringement claims and for submitting counter-notifications.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content hosted on Javaobjects.Net Guides Tips infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a written DMCA Takedown Notice. To be effective, your notice must include substantially the following information, as required by 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
  3. Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA Takedown Notice, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also make a good-faith effort to notify the user who posted the material.

DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material, you have the right to submit a DMCA Counter-Notification. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complaining party. If the complaining party does not notify us within 10-14 business days that they have filed a court action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity, we may restore the removed content. Your counter-notification must include substantially the following information, as required by 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3):

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Javaobjects.Net Guides Tips may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
